Librarian, ex chef, mother, music nerd (not into top 40 stuff), film nerd, laugher, laughee, looking for someone to unwind with during my precious and intermittent downtime. Preferably a man who can express himself in other ways than through his ironic tshirt collection. I am not a vanilla kind of woman.
I love cooking & eating out - finding new out-of-the-way restaurants is always good - but am essentially a homebody, and happily so. If your idea of a good weekend is a dawn windsurf followed by some bikram yoga, then meeting up with friends for brunch, followed by catching a sporting match in the afternoon before 8pm dinner reservations - then I'm probably not your girl. I prefer dolce il niente (sweetly doing nothing)
I couldn't care less about a man's car, bike, naked torso picture or football team. I'm 'pale & interesting' rather than spray tanned and orange, and I hate the term 'on trend'- my bright red lipstick has been my forever trademark and I don't change it to suit what a magazine dictates to me.
I cook like a mofo - I did it for a living (I supply wholefood & paleo cakes to restaurants) but love most of all cooking feasts for loved ones with wine in hand and the music going (Fave cooking soundtrack is currently The Tango Saloon & Cheatahs)
PS I'm by no means 'big n tall' , I'm round n short ;)
