Hey! Yes, my name is Dave. I'm a spontaneous, easy going, fun loving, all around nice guy. I am a single dad, and am very active in my son's life. We enjoy a great relationship. Heck, he even laughs at my jokes! (Ok... maybe my threatening to stop feeding him had something to do with it. :) )
I live in Central Ohio, but I have a cabin in the mountains of Washington State, west of Yakima. I escape to it as often as I can, which is never enough. Why do I have a cabin that far away? My family is from Yakima, and started the cabin many years ago.
What am I looking for? More than anything, I am looking for friends. Friendship is the pinnacle of a relationship. Without it, nothing can last. With it, nothing can fail. I am hoping to find a soulmate, someone I can snuggle up with in front of a fire, talk about whatever (or not talk at all), laugh with, flirt with, do new things with, whatever comes to mind.
There really is no set pattern as to what I want in a relationship. Everyone is different, so let's meet and see if our differences combine to make something special.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Hmmm... Before a first date should be a first meeting; an introduction of sorts. It should be casual, like meeting with a group of friends for coffee or a drink, or perhaps something like walking around the North Market, picking lunch from the vendors there, or even just talking on the phone.
This helps set up the first date, which should be special and long remembered. It could be as formal as a tux and theatre tickets, or as casual as blue jeans and nascar tickets. It could be carefully planned and executed, or as spontaneous as "Are you in the mood for a Philly Cheesesteak?... In Philly?... If we leave now?..." Actually, I do lean towards the spontaneous and casual. It's way more fun. :)
