How do you describe yourself in a few words? It's impossible to capture your true essence, the hundreds of little things that make you who you are. Since I can't do that, I'll share the basics and maybe my words will intrigue you to say hello ;)
I'm Lindsay. I like planning vacations, reading mystery novels, perfecting recipes, going to the gaslight theater, relaxing on the porch on cool nights, cuddling with my kitties, and throwing movie quotes or song lyrics into conversation as much as possible. I am terrible at bowling and mini golf, but have fun playing. I love card games, board games, video games, and pretty much anything that involves creating a strategy. I'm semi-crafty, I know a tiny bit about sports, and I hate repeating myself. I consider myself an introvert, a dreamer, a thinker, and a bit of a nerd. I am family-oriented, extremely empathetic, pretty silly (especially after drinking moscato), and am interested in being more spontaneous.
I'm looking to find someone to go to brunch with after sleeping in on the weekends. I'm looking for someone who shares my passion for the gloriousness that is Netflix, someone who isn't afraid to go on and on about their favorite things, someone who will hold doors, laugh at the silly voices I use, and must love animals and kids. I want to date and see what happens, I want to go on adventures, feel the rush of a first kiss, and feel that anticipation for more.
Let's be real, I don't think it's too much to ask for the man I date to have a job, be independent, and know what he wants for the future. To be blunt, I'm tired of dating boys and am ready for a man who wants a partnership, something more significant and real. I'm not talking about immediate commitment, but taking the time to get to know someone, like someone, maybe fall in love, the whole deal. A home cooked meal that takes all day to prepare is much better than cheap fast food you can get anytime, just saying.
If you're still reading, it means you have a decent attention span, maybe get my sense of humor, and maybe want to say hello. If so, I encourage you to take a chance, send a message, and tell me something intriguing about yourself.
