Hello... I think the "no bs"'approach is best:
If you're contacting me for the first time- don't say something to the effect of "Hey baby- text/call me" - and then send your number.
And the fish-themed pick up lines?? ("reel me in", "Here Fishy Fishy...", "cast your line over here", "what kind of bait do you prefer?" and the winner so far- "Have I got a worm for you!" ). NO. I'm pretty sure your mama would cringe.
Trust me- a simple "Hello" or question is much better!!!
Please don't call me "hun" or "sweetie" if we have just begun to chat. My close friends can call me pet names.... Oh- and anyone over 80.
If you don't spell well, that's fine- but bite the bullet and use spellcheck. Evidently there are many of you that I could seriously beat in a scrabble game. ;).
I have been accused of being a b---- because I am direct in my profile. I'm sincerely sorry if I've offended you but clearly, we are not a match then and you should hit up another "fish" (since there are plenty!)
So if I haven't offended you, here's the deal...
I enjoy running, going to the lake, and live music. I also enjoy golf but my game isn't pretty (ha)
I love the Green Bay Packers. It's rough being a Cheesehead in Cowboy country!
I am a counselor in private practice and would probably do my job for free if I won the lotto.
I am looking for a good friend first to hang out with- drinks on a patio, explore a biking/hiking trail, go listen to some music. etc.
Oh! I do know how to spell Dalai Lama... there's a lil' story that goes with the name MollyDollyLama. Perhaps I'll share it with you. :)
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Convo starters hmm- How amazing Aaron Rogers is? Why dogs are pure awesomeness? Why it's so darn hard to hit that little white ball straight? Anything but a Fishy Line.
