About Me
I am working on creating a list of the traits I am looking for. So far, the only thing I can come up with is:
"available on Saturdays." I wouldn't think that would be so much to ask for, but it has been surprisingly difficult
to find. Looking at the men I have had good chemistry with, I would say I veer toward the tall side, but I wouldn't
say that's a deal-breaker. Athletic is a deal-breaker though, as I'm very active and fit and looking for an activity
partner more than anything. It would be simply great to find a man who was smart, funny, perhaps a bit sarcastic,
and it would be absolutely wonderful if that man also skis and plays golf. That's all I need. That, and this remote control...

As for me, I'm active, funny, smart, opinionated, and independent. I don't cook much, but I love eating in restaurants. I make
a great martini, and keep a very well-stocked bar and every bar accessory you can think of. I am not a heavy drinker, but I think
a fancy drink can make even a mundane moment something special. I never drink alone, but I have a lot of friends. I am
divorced, just published my first book, about to start a new job, and I have a house full of pets and a college-age "roommate"
who doesn't like to clean his bathroom. On the plus side, I am a really good girlfriend, even though I'm told I was a lousy wife.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell... the good, the bad, and the moldy.

Pet peeve from the pond... guys who message me that I can't message back. When you put blockers in place,
you narrow your field. Get it? I just got a note from a man who is two years older than me. I took the time to
write a nice reply, only to get a POF dispatch that said I was "TOO OLD TO CONTACT THIS USER." Really?
I'm not too young if I'm 30, because that's where you set the low end, but I'm too old if I'm two years younger than you?
Good luck with that. We DO look at the low-end of your settings too, and I have eliminated many fish for stating a
willingness to date their daughter's friends. A very unattractive trait. Just sayin...

Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Meet somewhere for one of those fancy drinks I like so much.
