After looking at my pictures you might have noticed that the backdrop is decidedly not Iowa. But I still live here - for now.
I get a bunch of "Hey there :)" messages. Does that opener work for you? Maybe I will try it sometime. But I guess if you are smoking hot a "hey there" will certainly get my attention. I don't have a membership so I can't follow-up on the "so-and-so wants to meet you" messages.
Ok here are the obligatory interest/hobby statements: I love to travel, just like most everybody else on here. Spending time being active outdoors is a top priority. I like to hang out in a bar and have a few drinks on occasion. Lately I have been doing some karaoke and having fun with it. But, I do need a little downtime at home to recharge.
I have a successful career and it's pretty fun most days. It allows me to travel often. But it takes over my life during the certain times of the year. It is easy to get stuck in a comfort zone of being so busy and it is challenging to meet new people. So that's why I use online dating. This isn't the most fabulous website, but I keep the profile anyway.
On the downside, although it is relatively easy to meet people online, it seems much harder to find someone that you really connect with. And a connection really is my goal.
What makes me unique? I think you have to figure that one out for yourself. All I know is if we connect, it's going to be fun.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
The best first date is to meet at a nice place for a drink or two and some conversation. Some sort of low pressure but fun situation.
