About Me
I like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain... Sorry, had to. *laughs*

What makes me unique. How to sum it up in 50 words or less... I'm probably the most complicated, laid back person I know. I'm honest, to a fault - blunt at times. But I don't always say what's on my mind - and there are a LOT of things on my mind. I'm a very romantic soul at heart, but have learned over time that not everyone is. Growing up I always thought of myself as a cat person, but now that I have been owned by both cats and dogs I think I'm more of a dog person.

I'm not looking for anything serious or long-term, just looking to date, and see where things go from there.

My interests are all over the place. Music, for example... I love a lot of the oldies, and by that I mean music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and of course the 80s. Movies? Horror, sci-fi, action/adventure - love them (I have dvds of Hellboy, JJ Abrams' Star Trek, and Doctor Who currently in my room). Romance movies are too sweet, saccharine, mushy. Blech. I think Joss Whedon is awesome! Mel Gibson was my favorite actor until he went nuts. I not a sports fan! Well, I enjoy playing volleyball and badminton (or used to, haven't in years). I love sushi, nachos and beer, burgers and fries, steak. I'm just as comfortable in jeans and a tee-shirt as I am all dressed up - and I have been known to dress up just for the heck of it.

Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
What would be a good date? Nothing loud/noisy, nothing crowded. It's hard to say. It depends on the weather, first of all. If it's nice out, a picnic in the park. Yes, I am that simple a person. If it's Winter, maybe going skating - even if I spend more time falling than I do standing on my skates *wink*. No one said you have to be good at something to enjoy it. Even sharing a plate of nachos and having a couple of beer is fun.
