I spend a lot of time in Los Angeles as am preferring the winter there, but come to Kelowna often as my home is here. When I find my match I would have no difficulty in giving up Los Angeles. Well, maybe a bit. I would like to do some traveling and someone to share it with would be even so much better. But I also enjoy sitting around home and watching my flowers/garden grow. It seems like I always have some reno project on the go.
I am spiritual not religious. I believe in LOA and listen to Abraham Hicks, Michael Beckwith, Bashar, Bentinho, etc
Love singing and occasionally playing my guitar. Prefer new type of country but love the 60s Eagles, Stones, Chicago.......but I have gone to two Metallica concerts. Saw Rolling Stones live on their last tour. Recently I have renewed my love of two stepping. Oh I love my new pink cowgirl boots!
Hockey is one of my favorite sports and attend live games whenever possible. Have been to over 100 live LA Kings games. Yes, I know what a zambonee is.
I love pickleball. Getting better at it. I'm 3.5-4.0 player.
Have done a lot of travel in past few years but still ready for more. Most recent was Sydney Australia and 12 day South Pacific cruise with Abraham Hicks. Camel kissing was on the Canary Islands. Loved Paris and would love to go back again. I celebrated with Pagans at Avebury Stones England on autumnal equinox (that was a strange party but great fun. I wandered into it while exploring Avebury). I walked the marble stones at Ephesus Turkey and thought about how the chariots drove over those same stones. I bought jewelry and silk scarves in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Watched the Muslims sacrificing animals in Chefchaouen Morocco for Eid al-Adha (Festival of the Sacrifice) and got the worst case of flea bites you can imagine while buying a Berber carpet there. Did not make it to Ricks Cafe. Found out how delicious Sangria is in Spain. Discovered that no one speaks English in Ecuador.....not even in the airport. OMG! Watched ships at the Panama Canal. Seen the most incredible stars ever in Northern Manitoba at a campfire singing songs. The campfire was made in an old washing machine tub that was on wheels from a lawnmower (great idea). Seen polar bears on the streets in Churchill MB. Damn it was cold there. Flew in a helicopter in Alaska to a glacier which I then walked on. Seen the Swiss Alps from the air (long ways away and they were still big). Stood in the outside corner going up both the elevators in the Eifel Tower and then saw a young man right beside me get down on one knee and propose to this girlfriend. I had lunch below the Acropolis in Athens (after sightseeing it). Been to the Rock of Gibraltar. I walked the streets in Santorini. I sat beside Joan of Arc in Notre Dame. I reveled at the ceilings in the Vatican. I sat beside the bronze statue of Picasso on a bench in the park where he use to play as a boy and had a discussion with him. Walked around Chichen Itza and up Coba pyramid in the Yucatan. I freaking drove in Mexico.....that is like taking your life in your own hands and also in England with a stick shift. WOW! Sherwood Forest was great. I've slept in hostels, cars, taxis, trains, planes, buses, cruise ships and wherever at times. I have been all across Canada from Vancouver Island to PEI, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia ( every place in-between in my rock and roll bands in my earlier days. And I still have a lot more adventures to talk about and more places to see. I think I am doing a spiritual quest to Machu Picchu next or maybe not. Any suggestions of some fun places to go? I've done the Blue Mountains in Australia, snorkeled the New Caledonia Barrier Reef, went to native villages in Fiji and drank Kava, bought coconut jewelry. Rode a camel on the Canary Islands. Won a sailing race on the True North in the Caribbean against the Stars and Stripes. We were on such an angle that you could put your hand into the water. I was in charge of the main sail and reeling in/letting out that 60 feet of rope in seconds. I have firewalked, jumped off railway bridges into 34 degree F water, climbed a smaller mountain, driven the I5 from LA to Vancouver 100 times. OK I have been a busy girl. But there still is much more to do.
I would like to take some cooking classes with my new best friend.....especially if it is Italian food in Italy or????
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
