I love funny people - love to laugh. Musical tastes vary but mostly 70s, 80s, and 90s. I have a strong belief in honesty and hard work. I love to take care of people but could use pampering myself sometimes. Reading is a favorite hobby, listening to music, going to the beach, going on day trips, finding quaint bed and breakfasts to chill out for quiet weekends away occasionally, out to breakfast or dinner, live music, occasional movie (favor snuggling on the couch watching a movie to going to a theater), enjoy going to things like the Big E, apple picking, and just hanging out relaxing and enjoying each others company - always up for new adventures - got any ideas?
kite flying, snorkeling, pottery wheels, driving to nowhere in particular, ice cream :), walking in the first snowfall, being a goofball, laughing until my face and stomach hurt and tears are running down my face, finding acorns, finding pine cones (not the long sappy king - the good ones that open up and are more "wooden"), occasionally watching hockey, the Sunday paper, chilling with my sweetie while he watches sports and I read, jeans and sweats, getting dressed up sometimes, small venues with live music, the drive-in, hanging with my nieces (they give me a reason to go to the zoo), Cape cod beaches with warm water, jacuzzis, White Mountains NH - some of my favorite places. Especially my get away from it all secret haven by Waterville Valley. Getting into my nice snuggly warm bed with a book and listening to rain and thunder! Dark chocolate!! Dark chocolate with nuts!! Nice people. Good listeners - you will get the same in return from me. Good communication!!! Not just that "ugh, I have to be all boring and pretend to care and listen and communicate until things are "set" then I can turn back into a Neanderthol. Showing you care as well as saying the words.
Oh, and there isn't one word to describe me....but they made me pick!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
First date - hmm...no pressure how about coffee? or ice cream? Then if it seems like we click maybe a casual dining experience where we can talk and get to know each other better. Good food, good conversation. No pressure. I think the most important thing that two people can do is become friends then expand your relationship. How about taking a walk or ride and enjoy the leaves changing color or the snow depending on the season. I think that whatever we decide to do should be something we both enjoy since relationships are give and take and both should enjoy the time together. What is your idea of a fun date? Bowling, movie, roller skating, target practice, ice cream? Let's figure it out!
