I am easy-going, down-to-earth, independent, stable, responsible, honest, communicator, trustworthy, spontaneous, and can be witty at times. I love romance, affection, passion. I am not into playing games (I don't mean board games). I have a good sense of myself and know what I am looking for in my soul mate. I will try Just about anything once. NOT INTO LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS, UNLESS (Provisions).
Old School Love.... “Find a man who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lay under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... wait for the man who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have you.... The one who turns to his friends and says, 'that's her.'” Am I a dreamer, or does it still exist?
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark....
One : Don't miss the boat.
Two : Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three : Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four : Stay fit, When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
Five : Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
Six : Build your future on high ground.
Seven : For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
Eight : Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
Nine : When you're stressed, float a while.
Ten : Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
Eleven : No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I would prefer getting to know someone via telephone, and/or online chat first, before our first date. Find out what their interest are, what we have in common, etc., and plan accordingly, depending on the information I have gathered via our conversation. My date will be surprised as to what I will do. :-)
