I grew up on Vancouver Island, just moved here to the city.
Looking for something long term, not sure if this is the place, but hey its worth a shot.
I don't go to clubs, please don't ask me to. You will however find me at pubs with friends quite often. I prefer fires in my backyard over watching tv anyday... I don't play videogames very often, but I do enjoy a few rounds of cod with friends. Usually I find I'm more entertained by music, first thing I do after work is turn on my stereo... Almost subconsciously. I'm a huge music fan.. Pretty much everything except country or clubby techno music. I definitely do enjoy a good movie or Netflix binge now and then, and I have my own theater to prove it(and no not some best buy boxed system) but best enjoyed after a good bike ride or workout.
I'm looking for a girl that would rather go fish at the river with a few beers than sit on a computer on Facebook all day. I like to take the Skytrain to Vancouver and ride the seawall in the summer, always entertaining.
Phone zombies aren't for me, I only have two pet peeves... Asking me to turn down my music and hanging out with someone who is obsessed with their phone.
I'm a realist and not afraid to speak my mind, even if it might get me in trouble sometimes. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and I respect that.
I'm not on here to waste my time or yours, or looking for hook ups. So if I've taken the time to message you, I think a response back is only courteous..
All in all, I have a successful career, my own huge place, my own boat, im genuine and as honest as it gets, have a great family relationship, like putting in an effort.. What girl doesn't like random surprises? Send me a message to find out more but honestly trying to read someone through texting takes talent. Let's meet up for coffee and go from there :)
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Something different, fun, original. Big props to you if you own and use a mountain bike. Just ask, I'm pretty open to suggestions. Drinks at a local pub is always a good one, maybe take my inboard boat out for a cruise on the lake?
