I am looking for love, lots of laughter, holding hands in the dark, and tons of kissing! I am smart, goofy, independent, an eternal girlie-girl, fiercely loyal to my friends and loved ones. I love life, I love what I do and am looking for someone to share all of this with. I am curvy, love to dance, and love good food and great conversation. And yes, call me a geek, but a fun night is sitting around playing games with good friends or just talking, but laughing harder than we ever thought possible. I grew up in Latin America, and I'm half-Palestininan, so I love multi-culturalism on every level.
I am a huge musical theatre geek - it's my profession. And I love to go to the movies and to watch tv shows like DANCING WITH THE STARS and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE as well as award shows - especially the TONY AWARDS. I also love my doggies and my kitty. And I am active with the Guide Dogs for the Blind organization. I have raised 2 Guide Dogs, so if you are allergic to pet hair, I'm NOT your girl.
I love going to the lake and I love to swim in the ocean, but I am not a camping kind of girl or into extreme sports. I DO love to sail - I lived in Hawaii for 5 years, and I had a 26' Ranger, so I know my way around a sailboat. STARBOARD!!
I try to keep fit with going to the gym and doing yoga and group fitness classes, but I fight a battle against my curves and what some would call a bodacious booty, so if you are into curves and a solid bubble-booty, that would be me! I love good food, and I DO have a sweet tooth.
I want to meet someone sexy, smart and with lots of integrity. A man that treats his woman like his queen, but also respects my intelligence. I don't want a liar or a chauvinist.
I also am an independent woman and I take care of myself, but I don't want to end up with a guy that thinks I should be rescuing him and helping him out financially, and I don't want to be anyones "mommy". It's all about being honest on here, so let's not waste each other's time. If you think that you fit the bill, let's chat and see where it leads us!
One last thing: I would just kindly request that if you have received an email or a chat request from me, and I am not your type, please have the common courtesy to respond with at least a quick "no thanks". I take the time to do that with any requests I receive. I think we owe it to each other. So I would love to have that courtesy reciprocated. HOWEVER, if you write to me and simply say "hi", I'm sorry, but you could put a little more effort into starting a conversation with me, so I'm not going to feel motivated to respond.
BTW - I am a great catch - I was out on the road since 2010 with 2 big Broadway shows singing, acting and dancing.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Hmmm......since the first date can be fraught with nerves, expectations, and "what will he think about me?" Let's go someplace like a cool pub/coffeehouse where we could play a game of cribbage or "War", or maybe some sort of board game that places like this keep stashed behind the counter. That would give us a chance to chat and get to know each other in person, have some good laughs, maybe a nice cup of coffee or a nice glass of wine. And then hopefully plan that second date.
