I am a 48 year old entering the dating world. I'm a Manager at an amusement park. It's a demanding job for 8 months out of the year and the other four are Holiday time and getting ready for a new season. Yes, I am a year round full time employee It's actually a lot of fun and over my career at the park I've had to opportunity to teach lots of young people while learning much from them. I've been lucky to have been mentored by some great people.
My physical activities include boating, kayaking, most recently getting back to the gym.
For entertainment, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, catching live music, watching sports, an occasional movie, and local area travel. My musical tastes range from classic rock to country to Irish music to 1980's pop to religious music. I enjoy looking at custom crafted jewelry and folk art crafts. My favorite day trip is the Folk Art Center in Asheville.
I'm an excellent listener- saves me having to talk sometimes...Funny thing is I don't really give advice. I find most people actually know what their problem is and how to solve it, they just need a little coaching to help them to work through it.
In the short term, I'm ready to start meeting new people and even date. I've already experienced the dating website scammers. If you can't be genuine, honest, faithful and loyal - I refuse to be your huckleberry. I absolutely abhor relationship cheaters / affairs / dishonesty. Long term I can't rule out a committed relationship.
