My interests are family, friends, church, pets, movies, music, architecture, nature, and some light exercise. My goals are to live life and to have fun with that special someone, be aware of the world around me and possibly make a difference, and travel more.
Musical interests very from christian such as Third Day, Plumb, Mercy Me, Natalie Grant to a variety of Van Morrison, David Gray, Collective Soul, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald and so on. My likes range from christian, easy listening, country, and rock to old classics and instrumentals. I like a variety.
The movies I like are as varied as the music I like. Romance, comedy, mystery, action. I like a wide range. A couple movies I've liked were Forrest Gump and The Notebook for the message of undying enduring love. I've also liked the Bourne Identity and Hunger Games movies. And, of course, I like some extremely sappy movies too. I just can't sit through that movie Marley & Me without crying every time:) The movie Was Room was excellent too.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
A good first date would be pleasant conversation over coffee at a wonderful little coffee shop to get to know one another better. Other options could be a trip to the local Dairy Queen/Tasty Freeze for ice cream cones, or a nice stroll through an art museum, or an afternoon at an art fair, or a round of putt putt golf. These are just a few options for a relaxed first date to slow down and take the time to find out more about each other.
