We're all busy, but we all seek connection. If it were not true, then you wouldn't be reading this. I say let's stop fooling ourselves into thinking that we are too busy for love. Time to stop saying that we are just looking for friendship, companionship and someone to be passionate with on occasion. Deep down inside, you know that you want it all. Well, I know I do! I just want to take my time getting there because life is about the journey and finding the right companion to with whom to take the next leg of the trip.
I am ready and open to the possibility of exploring long-term relationship, and looking for a man open to the same. I don't have a list of requirements, rather I am simply seeking a man who has come into his own. By that I mean one with maturity, spirituality, someone who knows how to both give and receive love, one seeking a peaceful, yet deeply passionate and exciting adventure into the realm of love. I am seeking to get to know someone over time and if it is meant to be, then I hope to fully enjoy the potential of long lasting connection. The Divine in me seeks to see the Divine in you...
There is no place on the map, or in the realm of romance to which I would not travel.
A few of the things that I find attractive are intelligence, a spiritual connection to God (religion not required- after all, it's man-made), sense of humor, love of family, college educated, determination, romantic in nature, enjoys simple things in life, and a little nerdy won't hurt, I love a sexy, man who is excited about me. A man who pays attention to details will win my heart.
As for me, my friends would say I am hopelessly romantic. They'd also tell you that, overall, I am a sweet, easy going, spiritual, creative, slightly silly kind of person. I am a mother, my children (one of which is an adult- yikes, did I say that?) are the joy of my life, and eventually a man who is interested will have to meet them. But that’s later in the screening process, you've got to put in your application with the boss first.
My career is important to me. I am very dedicated to making a difference in the field of education, and I'm currently pursuing a terminal degree, so I choose how I spend my time with care (in other words... only the serious need apply, please don't waste my time).
Provided the passion is there and we click (love/sex/family/values/etc), then we'll see what happens next. Are you my travel mate for this journey? Let's find out!
P.S. If you made it this far and think a two line email will work for me after the first hello, then keep it pushing.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
There's always the let's meet for coffee or drinks to size each other up in person option. After spending time getting to know you via email and phone conversations, it would be time for a real date...
A creative man is sexy so... you tell me, what kind of spontaneous and exciting adventure you would plan for a real first date???
