Sidenote: Ladies, if you feel that we're not connecting and don't want to waste each others time, please have the decency to at least say so. I find it disheartening when i try to drop a quick note to say hello or good morning after we start a conversation, to find myself blocked. Update : Tired of trying and hoping, so over all this, just going with the flow...
Widower, no kids, on here looking for friendship, and if possibly something deeper develops along the way, all the better. I am a hard worker, a trait presumably inherited from my mother, I work two jobs to occupy my time, been at one for 16 years and counting. I spend more time awake then asleep and I am hoping to find that someone that'll help maybe change that.
I am not your run of the mill stereotypical Asian guy, i have a bizarre warped sense of humor, get along with people of all ages. I typically get along with people younger then me, not alot of people around my age gets me, guess i'm still enjoying my 20's and 30's life in my 40's. I'm pretty easy going and down to earth and like I said before, have a quirky/ perverted/ weird/ warped sense of humor , flirty when I am comfortable and extremely young at heart, have the mindset of someone much younger then my age, carefree and I try to live my life simple and economical and, as much as I can contribute, being green. I abhor smoking, and personally I think it's a filthy habit. I am spiritual, not religious. Another thing, I don't drive either nor do I own a motor vehicle nor do I plan on acquiring one in the near future ( just a life choice), I prefer to ride a mountain bike ( doing my part of being green ) everywhere and anywhere around town, especially when I'm not at work.
In my spare time, i'm usually listening/ watching an ecletic mix of music /movies or outside playing with my furbabies, I don't do bars or drink too often (on very rare occasions, I do have a drink or two ) and I am self sufficient and a pretty good cook
I used to live in New York City, loved it there but moved here a year before 9/11 and although I am thankful for that, like they say, I will never forget and even though I wasn't there, it still pains me whenever i think about it. I have somewhat adapted to the simplistic life here in Clovis, it does provides me the basic necessities to keep my sanity intact. Anyway, that is all I can come up with for the moment, so feel free to look around and if I do somehow piqued your interest or you have any questions, just ask.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I would prefer a meet n greet, a date sounds so formal. Somewhere nice and quiet so we can get better acquainted, where you can sit and talk and be comfortable just talking over a quick lunch or a cup of joe/ tea and finding out if we have common grounds and from there, maybe plan an actual first date together
