I read a lot of books and have varied interest. I am very into music, in many different ways. I like to listen, compose, play, dance, make strange movements that follow the flow of the music which i only understand, haha. classical, pop, rock(s), disco, 80's, male, female, I'm into it all. Not the biggest fan of rap as most of the time I can't understand what they are saying, haha. That being said I've found the singer/rapper Cazwell to be entertaining, I guess you could call it rap but........well look it up and you'll understand. I'm easy to get along with but hard to know at first.
I'm one of those classic romanticists but you have to get me to open up about it, then again if you take the lead that goes a long way too. I listen to classical music and watch whatever kind of movies I feel like, sometimes a rom-com is nice, sometimes i like seeing zombies getting massacred. Other times I need a feel good movie if my day was bad or just some cuddling on the couch to a good'ole coming-of-age drama. The books I read are just as varied: sci-fi, teen drama(guily pleasure), fantasy, perhaps a good philosophical book(next on my list is some Keirkagard), even some non-fiction catchs my interest.
If you've read up to here you probably get the idea that I'm kinda of a nerd. I like to game it up more than just occasionally and I have a plethora of eletronics equipment, I'm pretty good with anything electronic and i enjoy working with my brains and my hands. Part of that is that I have a problem writing, chilhood accident. I can type quite fast and perfer to express myself on the computer becuase of that, as i said before I'm pretty hard to open up so I don't usually talk that much either unless it's soemthing i'm really passionate about. But most likely you'll learn more about me by talking to me over the computer. Yes i love to meet people in person but I can be shy at times so I like the computer.
I also enjoy things such as sudoku, logic puzzles and mathmatics problems. I really like working with my brain and I try to excersise it whenever I can. I also enjoy playing board games like scrabble, taboo, pictionary, trivial pursuit and I have tons of those too. I'm a homebody type of person, I don't go out much and I prefer to talk to people on my phone or computer. I like staying in and cooking up a nice big meal for friends, and i love it when people appreciate my cooking. I beleive that if you are going to do something you should do your best and enjoy it. If you don't wanna cook then i won't make you cause I'lll gladly whip something up, but you should share the clean up and help out after. I like a houseparty or just going to the bar/club. I really don't like actual bars unless it's for dinner or just an afterwork get together. When I go out at night I go out to dance, i like feeling the music course though me and dictate my movements. I have a couple drinks when I go out but I'm usually not the one to get smashed, but don't be surprised if I do, haha, it just takes a lot(its my background).
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
On a first date I would do something different, like bowling, or a walk along the river, or in a park. Another great thing would be go carts, or paint-ball, horseback riding would be good. If it was someplace more appropriate then I would like to go hang gliding or something more adventurous. Movies are great but they don't afford you much time to get to know one another. ok, so maybe it's not so easy when you are shooting balls of paint at each other(although hopefully we can be on the same team) or soaring through the air to talk, but at least we will have a great time(I hope) and will learn a bit about what the other likes. I really don't mind group dates or double dates, I think that it can make for a really fun evening if you use your imagination, but the date is also about us, the two of us, and the others should understand that.
Then for dinner not just dinner and someplace nice; it would be some type of foreign food, a different taste. I'm a fan of spicy food and asian cuisine. There aren't a lot of things I won't try again(becuase most likely I have already tried it, but if not I'm williing to take a chance. Just know right now fugu is out of the question, as well as anything similar, I like taking chances but not like that, haha). I don't require an expensive date, we could even come back to either your or my place and make some food together. If you know a great local cafe or hole in the wall that would be fun too.
After dinner it would be great to spend some time just talking and getting to know each other, have some cold drinks would be nice, nothing alcoholic but just cold and sit and relax. Maybe watch the sun go down over the mountains/ocean/lake/hills/plains/whatever else may be available. Watching the stars is a good idea too,or if we are having a good enough time we could watch the sun come up, heh. At this point if we are both feeling it i think a little head on shoulder action would be appropiate, and although not practical falling asleep under the stars in each others arms is always a good end to the night(there's that hopeless romantic side again). Of course a intimate embrace and/or kiss at the end of the night as one of us drops the other off can be good too.
Of course the entire evening would leave me breathless and just waiting for the next time to go out. All in all it would just have to be different, not exactly what I picture, just different from the "typical first date". I like to see a little effort put into a first date; while dinner and a movie is great for going out, a first date needs to wow you. No matter who is planning it it should be amazing and have to looking forward to seeing each other again. This may sound corny, but then again I'm a music person so I can relate to this, but a first date is like an audition/concert. You want to display your best talents and make your audience want more, you pull out all the stops and make the best impression you can.
