I think humor is an essential part of life because if you can’t laugh then you are bound to cry. I’m definitely looking for someone who loves to have a good time; who doesn’t take life and themselves too seriously and makes me laugh because I definitely approach life with humor.
A few things I can’t live without: music, flip-flops, a great down pillow and spell check. I love trying the latest new restaurant or kitschy dive. A perfect Friday night is cooking together, maybe barbecuing on my deck and enjoying a beautiful SF night -- every once in awhile we do have a warm Summer evening.
I have a challenging job that keeps me on my toes, but I am definitely someone who works to live rather than lives to work. In many ways, I think I work so that I can go on vacation. I love to travel. I’ve been lucky enough to see a lot of the world, but I have many more countries to conquer and I am looking for someone to join me on the ride. I don’t think there is anything like immersing yourself in a new culture, meeting the people, learning about their day-to-day life and of course discovering new cuisine. And if there is a beach involved with the opportunity to scuba dive, even better!
I would like to meet someone who is willing to share their heart, who is not afraid to be honest with their feelings, takes risks and make it safe for me to do the same. You love my biting wit and think I am incredibly charming and I'm equally enamored with you.. You teach me new things and expose me to new life experiences – maybe it is a favorite book or movie, teaching me to surf, who knows? We have a lot in common, but it's our differences that push us to grow and learn the most.
Life is good, but it is always better with that special person by your side.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Blind dates always put butterflies in my stomach, but a good first meeting leads to a much more enjoyable second date, I hope. Lunch, a hike, a drink...a chance to get to know a little more about each other and seem if ther is chemistry of course.
