I am a software Technical Analyst during the regular work day and an aspiring social media analyst, tech geek, and blogger in my spare time. I'm addicted to CrossFit, am the resident geek and poster boy at my box (CrossFit Waterloo), and have volunteered at the Canada East Regionals and the CrossFit Games in Carson, California and plan to continue to do so ongoing because what better way to celebrate your birthday than a yearly trip to California!? :)
I've traveled a bunch around the world (Peru, Singapore/South East Asia, London, Paris, Spain to name a few) and the states, but surprisingly have never been to any of the Canadian western provinces.
I'm fiercely loyal to those close to me almost to a fault but see no downside to that whatsoever. I grew up on a small family farm outside of Kingston bailing hay drinking sap out of the bucket, etc but don't fit the mold at all.
If you're reading my profile I'm hoping it's because I think we have something in common, have likely made reference to that commonalty in a message, and I'm ready to put aside any preconceived notions and just figure out if we're a good fit. The question is are you?
If you aren't about to respond or are hesitant that's cool. No one is perfect for everyone, but I think people eventually figure out why they're perfect for each other.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Anything that allows us to get to know each other; coffee, mini golf, walk, or maybe something with a little more adrenline like indoor rock climbing?
For a first date dinner (unless it's sushi) or a movie probably aren't the best ideas. Do you really want to watch each other ingest food while trying to talk in a loud restaurant? And, who seriously wants a neck cramp from side talking in a place where people will yell at us for talking? :p
