My theme for 2018 is: Learn, Love, Live. This applies to so many things...from the spiritual to the natural. If this is something that appeals to you too, we just might have a great starting point!
I am a professional woman who loves to laugh. I love a man with a great sense of humor and a quick wit.
I am a recovering workaholic. I have reached a point in my life where I have achieved a level of success in my career and have now realized the value of “balance,” which has led me to realize how much I would like to meet someone special with whom I can spend time, travel and have fun - my partner in crime!
I enjoy movies, great food, painting, traveling, I'm learning to golf and can shoot a decent game of pool (long nails and all...lol). I also enjoy quiet nights at home, watching TV and reading. I’ve recently started practicing Yoga and Pilates. They are both challenging yet rewarding.
I have no interest in game playing. While I want to have fun, I am still interested in forming a real connection. One promise I can make is that I will be honest with you. If I do not feel a connection, I will let you know. I do not believe in wasting anyone's time...yours or mine. The second promise I can make is that I am sane and drama free, which unfortunately, does not sound like the norm on POF...lol.
I do not believe there are any perfect people roaming the Earth, but I do think there is someone out there who is perfect for each of us (a lid for every pot...lol). My lid is someone who can capture my attention with his intelligence, his professionalism, his ambition, sense of humor and openness. He will be my best friend. He is that person who will be my first call when something funny happens, when I have good news or even when I need to brainstorm about a new adventure. He will support me in my new endeavors and will be eager to learn new things right along with me. The best part is...I will do and be the same for him!
I am a very positive person and prefer to surround myself with positive people. We all have a lot for which we can and should be grateful, so that should be our focus. We deal with the other things as they come - knowing that our foundation of positivity and gratefulness will help overcome any obstacles that may arise.
I love God and I am a Christian - not just in name but in deed. I appreciate and respect everyone’s choice in religion and spirituality. I have found through this dating process that I prefer to build a relationship with someone who shares my belief system and values.
Lastly, I should not have to say this, but...if you are married or separated, please do not contact me. I have no interest in talking to married men. I would also prefer to stay away from long distance relationships. Quality time is extremely important to me and I find that long distance situations do not lend themselves to that very well.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I want to go somewhere quiet that will allow for good conversation. Good communication is key to forming any relationship. If you can make me laugh, all the better!
Tell me about one of your defining moments in life.
