I am a happy and healthy Christian man seeking the loving companionship (AND passion) of a life long partner who shares my faith, high morals and values. Although not looking to rush the alter on the first date...I do wish to find someone who has a plan of a "happily ever after" in her future as well......sooner than later! My faith is a very important part of who I am. I am a long time member of Saddleback Church and serve in many ministries there. I am a man of high integrity and believe strongly that without it being a cornerstone in a relationship, that relationship is doomed from the start. I highly value honesty, faithfulness and above all a strong relationship with my maker. I absolutely love children (I am blessed to have a few of my own who spend time with me whenever their social calander permits it) and look forward to once again being a loving husband and stepdad, if the opportunity presents itself again. I'm a romantic by nature with my heart worn frequently on my sleeve. I enjoy showing affection. I enjoy sharing my life and my love. I am a strong communicator, but also realize the value of being a great listener. I love to laugh and make others laugh along and believe that for a couple to truly be able to love together, they also have to be able to laugh together. So, if you believe that God is in control and that He is directing your walk and that I may just be the one He has picked out specially for you....then please drop me a note. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
On a first time meeting I like to keep it simple.....somewhere in public, but private enough where we can talk (and listen) to each other without having to raise our voices to be heard. A early evening walk on the beach fits the bill nicely. We can always grab a bite afterwards if we are so moved, or the 'meet and greet' cup-o-joe. Either works just fine for me. If we hit it off, then a more romantic, place we'll always remember as our 'first date place' is in order. And if for some reason it's not a connection, no worries....at least we got to enjoy the fresh air and meet someone new.
