Working hard, trying to enjoy life. Not letting life's bumps stress me out. With the right attitude you can have fun anywhere, even an insurance seminar. Although I did quit a job in insurance so as to NOT have to attend one of those seminars so...
I work full time. I teach cooking and nutrition part-time so eating well goes hand and hand with that. Can't be a hypocrite, practice what I preach. Work out 2 days a week and try to get outside and exercise in nature too. I like biking, hiking, boating & fishing if someone will take the hooks out for me. I don't care what fishermen say, they can feel!
I love to swim and be on the water. I dance & sing without warning. I will also toss out movie quotes in mid conversation. You get a gold star if you recognize them.
I enjoy art, architecture, and the history of both. Museums have never bored me. I enjoy going to the theater but also I like going to classic car shows. I grew up in the NW and then moved to Southern California for awhile. Farm girl meets Hollywood and falls in love with the beach. My glam side still comes out in my fashion. I will fix the fence and then rock the red dress at the theater that night. I think how you carry yourself is important and honesty and kindness are key.
I rarely watch TV, if I do it's usually a documentary. More of the Bijou movie type, not entertained by the mindless comedies or sitcoms. Although I seem to have the goofy comedies of my childhood memorized. Who can forget Chunk's Truffle Shuffle? I do have to admit my sci-fi and fantasy geek side. From Narina, Middle Earth, Naboo, Gothem and back to Platform 9 3/4.
So, in a nut shell (How did I get in this nutshell?) I am doing what everyone should be doing: Living an honest life, enjoying family and friends, growing, helping to improve my community, learning and experiencing new things.
