About Me
~ Into My Own ~

One of my wishes is that those dark trees,
So old and firm they scarcely show the breeze,
Were not, as 'twere, the merest mask of gloom,
But stretched away unto th edge of doom.

I should not be withheld but that some day
into their vastness I should steal away,
Fearless of ever finding open land,
or highway where the slow wheel pours the sand.

I do not see why I should e'er turn back,
Or those should not set forth upon my track
To overtake me, who should miss me here
And long to know if still I held them dear.

They would not find me changed from him they knew--
Only more sure of all I thought was true.

The above poem is not bait nor a lure in keeping with the fish theme here...It is one of my all time favorite poems by Robert Frost...and also describes the 3 dimensions of who I am...creative, romantic & adventurous...I am a professional photographer and multi-media artist. One of the many things I like to photograph is dance in just about any form...I am the offical photographer for a ballet company which brings me in contact with the romantic & creative on a constant basis and yes I like to dance (again not bait).

My art is my passion and I express it in many ways...mostly through the lens of my camera but not limited to it...I believe there are many ways to express art and passion...another way for me is in the kitchen...I love to cook for my friends and an evening of good food & great wine is one of my favorite ways to socialise.

I enjoy the great outdoors...my art (photography) takes me there quite often...and any excuse to go there is a grand way to spend a day or weekend. I am not looking for another artist...though that would be grand as well...but I would like to meet someone who at the least has an appreciation for the arts.

The phrase "looking for someone" seems so fatalistic, as though there were only one person for each of us out there which we must find on pain of solitude! No one can be someone's everything. Because that would be kind of boring, plus I imagine you'd run out of things to talk about pretty quickly. I don't want to be someone's everything, but I would like to be a someone which you would want to laugh with, wander with, make food with, and just generally spend quality time with.

If you read or see something you like...then lets chat and maybe do the meet for coffee/interview ?!

FYI : I was recently censored by POF so the images of my art "landscapes & ballet" have been taken down...go figure?!

"A kiss is what happens when words become superfluous..."

"For happiness, how little suffices for happiness! … the least thing precisely, the gentlest thing, the lightest thing, a lizard’s rustling, a breath, a wisk, an eye glance – little maketh up the best happiness ... be still" ~Nietzsche~

Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I have many favorite scenarios for a first date...being an artist and a romantic...my creativity is not stunted when it comes to 1st 2nd 3rd dates etc.
Lets talk and then meet & if we click (intellectual & physical chem.) (I think brains are sexy!) Then we can go from there...that way there is an element of surprise and again not just words dangled here as bait...?!
