I'm a fairly active and laid-back guy. I enjoy martial arts and dance. I'm silly, energetic, and humor-filled. Though, initially meeting me I'll appear to be stern and quiet. I value self-discipline and smart decisions.
I appreciate a night in as much as I do a night out.
I got into dance through a gal friend. It was a lot of fun and I got the chance to learn many classic and latin dances through to intermediate level. Since I moved away from my home town I've been keeping my eyes open for a new partner to continue taking classes with.
Anyway, I have a background in film making and I enjoy movies. Though, I'm currently working a university-earned career, I aspire to get some stories published as a side project (there's an ice breaker question for you).
I do have a pic, and the reason it's absent from the web site is not to try to hide my looks. I have confidence in my appearance and if you require a face before choosing to chat, ask me and I'll show you. The reason it's absent is because I choose not to post one at this moment.
Now that I don't have any university classes and spend most of my time at work, (not to mention the amazing peer pressure from my friends who are already on PoF) I shrugged and figured, "sure, what the heck." and joined PoF.
Q: What kind of girl am I looking for?
A: One who appreciates my artistic endeavors.
If our senses of humour, romance, and playfulness match, then hey! we got it good.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I think some people put too much pressure on themselves trying to date to impress.
A date should be a shared experience, where there isn't one person to lead every single part of it.
I suppose it would involve eating, a movie, and then some most righteous star-gazing.
I'm likely to find out there's some kind of cool community event coming up and giving you a call to come with. Movie, shopping, dance partners, whenever I feel like doing something with a partner.
