I am seeking the last knight actually my last knight. Perhaps a little rust on his armour or even some scars although he is not embittered from the battles.. I see him not for only what he is but what he is when he is with me. I enjoy listening to the sound of his voice and strength of his presence. We will sing out of tune together although we will step together in time. We will enjoy each season as they come in and out with delight. We might be chilled in the snow together and build a snowman. We want to stay as children in a few ways. The sun is great in the summer but perhaps not better than a nice air conditioned room with iced tea and good conversation. We will be amazed of what we learn from each other. I will write poems of him and he will smile. We will go for country drives and I will cook dinner for him. He will surprise me and take me to a nice dinner and perhaps he is the one that has cooked it. He will be able to take me far away on journeys with just his words. He and I are not seeking someone we can live with we are seeking one we wish not to live without. We are good apart and fantastic together. Whether 5'7" or 6'5", head full of hair or bald, slender or a big man he has the heart and soul needed. He does his best not to judge by the money in a man's pocket or the color of his skin but heart, soul and integrity. He is open minded enough to listen to opposite points of view although not always agreeing. He knows the ape isn't our cousin or believes in the big bang theory. It doesn't make him a wimp to say he knows God created us and can worship God for who is, was and always will be. That is enough on the subject that can cause a heated discussion for days. He is probally conservative to middle of the road Republican. Now I know I have said too much! I would consider kissing on the 1st date but I am not going to.....well, you know what. I mean what is your name anyway and where did you go to school, what's your favorite color? You get the message. We do not agree on everything. I don't want a clone but at times we must agree to disagree. He brings flowers and I write notes at the most unexpected times and it brings a smile to his face when he needs it. He has difficulty understanding how I can love country, oldies, classic rock, gospel and standards all equally. He wonders how I can enjoy Willy Nelson as much as Rod Stewart, Bob Segar, Michael Bolton, Blood Sweet and Tears, Three Dog Night, Creed, Barry White and Luther Vandross. I could slow dance until dawn and talk longer. I could tell you more although I think I will save the rest for later.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
If it is an actual date we have already met casually for coffee or soda. We have decided to commit ourselves to a romantic date which only time can tell.
