I thought it was time I updated my profile somewhat. I met and fell in love with a wonderful man from this very dating site. We have been inseparable since we met in June 2009. So why haven't I deleted my profile you ask. Simple really and it has nothing to do with "just in case things don't work out with my boy". I wrote in some of the forums and if I delete my profile my words will be lost forever. I wish you all the best of luck in your search!
I was born in New Zealand where people kiss by rubbing noses. It's also known as the land of the long white cloud. I guess that's because it's often cloudy there, clever aren't I? I did not actually grow up in New Zealand... I moved to Australia when I was a year old and have spent most of my life living there. I moved to Boise Idaho in August of 2004. I have to say I love it here - I'm the person with the accent; people talk to me everywhere I go...
I am in awe of the men and women that serve in the military! I have the greatest respect and admiration for them. Especially those who have served overseas. They give up everything they love and know to serve their country - and I freakin' love those uniforms!
I like to be told the truth, and I abhor liars! I have found that a person can say they have integrity but those can just be empty words. You have to be a witness to their life to know for sure! I believe love is a word that is used by many, but understood by few. It gets thrown around like it's nothing. Love, if you ask me, is giving someone the power to destroy you, but trusting them not to. Trying to forget someone you loved is like trying to remember someone you never knew. The heart is a wonderful thing. Each and every person we meet is a potential friend that can grace our lives with their love. This is what I believe life is all about.
I believe most women love the idea of a man that will walk across hot burning sand to get us a drink, would protect us, shelter us, hold us when we are fearful, look at us and see beauty that takes their breath away. I know I love the idea of that kind of man!
