Younger than my years with lots of energy. Everyone guesses my age much younger and I find that amusing. Ran the 15K (9.3 mi) Tulsa Run before, but not last year. Darn...didn't win when I ran but finished ahead of lots of younger runners. Got a little lazy lately, but I've started running again to get ready for the Tulsa Run next year and maybe a marathon. You don't have to be a gym rat, but prefer someone willing/able to do some physical activities. I hike with a group in NW Arkansas, float, mountain bike, and would be up for most physical activities. I play Pickleball 3-5 times/week with a great group of friends. Like to golf, but golf doesn't like me. Have taken some country and swing dance lessons, but still learning. So if you're not active......we probably wouldn't be a match. Don't necessarily have to like my activities, just be active....we can always find some things to do together.
Thankful that I have been blessed with great health and am prescription free. I'm flexible with my diet, but try to buy protein without any growth hormones or added antibiotics. Avoid aspartame, Splenda, and high fructose corn syrup like the plague. Try to buy organic whenever I can.
I've adopted Mickey Mantle's quote: "If I knew I was going to live this long, I would've taken better care of myself."
Financially comfortable. Varied interests and pursuits. Pretty easy going......don't sweat the small stuff.....prefer that you don't either. Not looking for trauma or drama. Not really interested in a long distance relationship more than 150 miles. In the long run, it all just boils down to that elusive chemistry. And, if the chemistry thing doesn't work out, well...you can never have too many friends.
While not impossible, I don't really expect to find the last love of my life on the internet. I still think it all happens when you're standing in line at the deli on your lunch hour, or maybe banging shopping carts at the local WalMart. But I keep an open mind.
My profile pics are a few years old. Will try to get new pics taken soon.
Anything else...just ask!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Coffee, drinks, maybe lunch or dinner. Something low key. Meet and greet type of thing. Whatever works. I'm easy.
