Thanks for taking the time to read!
So, a description eh? (begin stereotypical spam)
Name's Drew, 6ft tall, white guy, on the skinny side, somewhat educated/well-traveled. Recently moved to San Diego, still branching out and mingling with the social scene. More introvert than extrovert, very amicable, wide range of interests.
I'm looking for anyone that wants to go out and live, experience new things and share memories. Fun times, parties with friends, quiet evenings in, fine dining, that one person you catch movies with, or just someone to share life stories with. Really up to who I meet what happens, but I know how to mingle and have a good time.
Bottom line: Fake persona's or One-Night-Stands need not apply (have plenty of wallpaper and furniture, thanks anyways). This guy is proud to be intelligent, graceful, and a gentleman. Plenty of abusive alcoholics for the bottom feeders out there to leech on (just full of rainbows and sunshine, aren't I?).
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
First date's are tricky, no matter what you do. And quite often, you utterly fail at expressing: "hi, my name is [not a psycho murderer]"
There's always this put-up screen of first impressions and pretense.
If your date is beautiful, you certainly can't just tell her so.
And you still have to seem interested, so you're kinda screwed.
Somewhere in there you have to pull off sounding cool, interesting, and intelligent.
(When really you just want to relax and enjoy yourself in the company of a really cute gal).
So what do you do?
That's just it, complete spontaneity is the key. Don't over-think it, don't plan beyond reservations. And make sure you remember flowers.
