...Looking for people who love to be Drunk on Art! All ages, races, religions, etc. are welcome! I am a (not yet professional) singer, musician, composer, who is also a multi-media artist. I love to meet people who are focused on cultivating friendships and gaining buddies, as opposed to people who are just looking for their next lay. I'm into Bellydance and many other things that can be classified as "World/International", but Gothic, Industrial, and many other music hold a very dear place in my heart as well. I would love to meet others who relish philosophical and metaphysical conversations till the wee hours of the morning whether it be through Email, over the telephone, or in person; no subject is taboo. I also love to go out to shows, galleries, farmers markets and coffee shops, though I often end up going alone by default. A couple of my favorite hangouts are the Eyedrum Gallery on MLK drive, and East Atlanta Village.
I am not a pacifist, nor am I pro-war nutcase.I try to be socially conscious. I love animals but failed at vegetarianism; I have no problem with either Veg or the Carnivore people for their choice. I can't deal much with cigarette smoke, but have no problem with smokers who are polite. I love tasty liquors, but absolutely do not need alcohol to have a good time. I am mostly non-religious, but have decidedly pagan/Heathen leanings. I am thoroughly and unabashedly bisexual (at a nearly 50/50 split), but that does not mean I am promiscuous.
I Am Not Looking For: Folks looking just to get laid; People too hung up on appearances; People who would try to relate to me as their "Sista" or some other such silly thing just because we might happen to share the same skin color and racial background; People who expect me to walk around with a big fake smile on my face at all times for their own amusement, and who choose to constantly misinterpret my "plainface" as "frowning"; people trying to forcefully convert me to their religion; People terrified of profanity (fear not, for the "F word" is your friend!) ;-)
My "Compatibility" and "Needs Assessment" tests for this site came out all screwed up! Grrr!! they stated the oppisites of some of the answers I gave, when listing my needs etc. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I'm really just looking for some folks to hang out with, but if a platonic friendship developed into a dating friendship, that would be fantastic as well. Something like a small concert with time afterwards for talking, such as at a coffee shop, is a nice date to me.
