I am, who I am.
I am a avid photographer, nature shots, I am not much into the posed shots.. I love driving, and will take off for a short trip and 5 hours later get back.
I also loooove to read.. and I am terrible about going to a book store.. I go in for a short shop and oh.. 3 hours later I actually get the books I want. (I have to check out the others there ya know. laugh) Probably a good idea if you want to keep track of me, stick me in a bookstore, you'll find me later..
Lets see what else.. I have cats, use to have horses, had to put my last one down about 3 years ago. (he was 28) No dogs at the moment, all the neighbor's dogs come visit but, I don't have to feed them..rofl.. Ah the best of both worlds.
I really have no sense of time, that doesn't mean I'm late to things, just that I need specifics to aim for. In other words, telling me I'll see ya when you get here is a BAD thing.. I'll get there, eventually, if I haven't gotten side tracked. (that isn't counting the unguided tours I sometimes go on.. that means getting lost to the rest of you. ). I do a lot of the hmm wonder where THAT road goes...People who go with me and if they want to go straight from point A to point B, don't let me drive them. (no sense of adventure I tell ya).
I'll talk to anyone, and I play a couple of RPGs on line.
I'm basically a upfront person, if you ask me something you'll probably get a answer, it may not be the one you want but, you'll get one. grin
Lessee.. beliefs... I think that everyone should go with what they are comfortable with.. not what others think is best for you.. As my very wise uncle Lauren said to me, in question and statement once after arguing with my cousin about my beliefs and practices compared to his..(and my uncle witnessing the whole thing.. ) he asked me, does what you believe and practice make you happy? Told him yes. At that point he told me then keep doing it, WHEN and IF it stops making you happy change. But, NEVER give up who you are or what you believe to make someone else happy.
I guess the point of the above is I'll back your choice of belief or whatever.. but don't try to follow or convert to yours. Everyone walks their own path, even if they are or aren't in a organized 'religion, or spiritual community'.
Yes, I smoke, working on quitting. Drinking, alcohol at least minimal. Minimal should probably be rarely.. last time I had any drink wise vs medicinal extracts, was about 3 years ago.
I don't play games unless someone insist then it becomes my game, my rules and I won't share the rules.
I am very much into Monolithic Domes. Energy efficient, solid construction that fits anywhere. And cool to look at.
If you ever want to totally distract me, give me a good book or a nature/historical documentary to watch.
Ye shall not annoy the dragon, for thou are crunchy and good with ketchup.
No matter where you go, or where you are, you are always learning. Whether that is from a simple passing of someone on the street, or the wind that blows and the rain that falls. In passing, your spirits touch, and gather knowledge.
Life is for living, its the sound of laughter, the shades of indigo as the dark changes to light, the wind in the trees, and the silence of the snow falling.
Don't follow any advice, no matter how good, until you feel as deeply in your spirit as you think in your mind that the counsel is wise.
All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree.
Life is the knowledge that you have dreams, death is when you forget to go after them.
You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.
Always Remember This:
You don't stop laughing because you grow old,
You grow old because you stop laughing!!!
Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have friends who makes you laugh, spend lots of time with them.

Once, in a little pond, in the muddy water under the lily pads, there lived a little water beetle in a community of water beetles. They lived a simple and comfortable life in the pond with few disturbances and interruptions...
Once in a while, sadness would come to the community when one of their fellow beetles would climb the stem of a lily pad and would never be seen again. They knew when this happened; their friend was dead, gone forever...
Then, one day, one little water beetle felt an irresistible urge to climb up that stem. However, he was determined that he would not leave forever. He would come back and tell his friends what he had found at the top...
When he reached the top and climbed out of the water onto the surface of the lily pad, he was so tired, and the sun felt so warm, that he decided he must take a nap. As he slept, his body changed and when he woke up, he had turned into a beautiful blue-tailed dragonfly with broad wings and a slender body designed for flying...
So, fly he did! And, as he soared he saw the beauty of a whole new world and a far superior way of life to what he had never known existed...
Then he remembered his beetle friends and how they were thinking by now he was dead. He wanted to go back to tell them, and explain to them that he was now more alive than he had ever been before. His life had been fulfilled rather than ended...
But, his new body would not go down into the water. He could not get back to tell his friends the good news. Then he understood that their time would come, when they, too, would know what he now knew.
So, he raised his wings and flew off into his joyous new life!
