Hi! Intrigued by an eternally young but reliable and self-reliant male who believes strongly in equality and digs women who believe in themselves, even tomboys? I'm strong on decency and consideration for all. Mean people suck, right?
There's no shopping list in my pocket - the world is full of amazing surprises. Many of the most important things about a person are hard to see or be sure of from a comment or two, but - I promise that EVERYTHING in this profile is TRUE, and invite you to test what you may. (Well, I'm guessing "body type" is pretty subjective, so I'll just say that I'm six feet tall, weigh 225 pounds, and look at the photos.) And "Single" really means "never married" here...and no double-dating, either.
I like swimming, dislike excessive heat, and love people who can teach me things and learn things along with me. Ask all the questions you want - assumptions won't be of much use. :) I prefer my live music in a cafe, a stadium, or theater rather than a bar or club, and spectator sports not much at all save a bit of Formula 1 racing. Intelligence, knowledge, competence and literacy impress me, along with independent spirit, but not the new-agey stuff.
My wheels are a pair - a 2000 Suzuki Bandit 1200S (the red one in the photo), with a great driving record and sane attitude toward driving, the world, and others. Financially secure, debt-free, politically centre-slightly-left. Open to all manner of people, age, race, ethnicity (wish they'd let me list "none!"), hair color or whatever, but no users or meanies. And for anything beyond friendship, Females are the only game in town! For that, I'd prefer someone no heavier than I - an honest "average." I have more friends among cats than dogs.
DEAL-BREAKERS: We all have some things we just can't put up with... mine:
- people who never, ever answer the phone or listen to their messages
- alcoholics or serious daily drinkers
*NOTE:* Okay, I give up. It has been made abundantly clear to me that a lot of people here on Fish don't consider greenery as "drugs" and list themselves as "no." I don't avoid people who toke a little from time to time, and I'd be lying if I said I've never inhaled. Anything addictive, nasal or needling I won't associate with. If you got this far, at least thank me for my honesty.
