I'm a techie (I prefer to think of myself as a techie and not a geek) looking for friendship and love from another fellow techie out there. I am a Windows software engineer by day, and am an amateur astronomer, digital artist, photographer, model railroad builder, electronic music enthusiast, 3D puzzle builder, woodworker, avid gardener, cook, and more by night. I am seeking a fellow techie to share notes, instruction manuals, ideas, concepts, accomplishments you're proud of, dreams, friendship, and love. You see I have a passionate and romantic side too. I am kind of shy at first, but if you encourage me, get ready for a wonderful interchange of techno babble that we can both drown ourselves in - especially if you have a telescope or share some of the same interests I do. Don't worry if you are a Linux or a Mac techie, I like them too! I don't just talk tech - I am also quite a romantic so don't be surprised if I want to meet you in person sooner than later. But I can take things slow too. If you want to be techie penpals for a while, that's great! Don't be surprised if I send you pictures of flowers (in lieu of the actual items if you don't give me your address) via e-mail to celebrate my friendship with you. That's the romantic side of me showing. When we meet you'll discover a thoughtful, caring, and respectful human being that likes to take you to museums, classical music venues, romantic candelight dinners, walks through beautiful gardens or along the beach, train rides, and more. I like to hear about what makes you a special person, what your dreams are - I don't just want to babble about my stuff! Honest and sincere friendship with lots of respect and consideration, passion for our relationship together, passion for what each of us does that makes us special, and affection and intimacy is what I seek. I'm not a sports nut, but I do like to get out and admire nature and enjoy walking or hiking. If you have a telescope, maybe we could have our own star party! Wow, that would be my dream come true.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
My idea of a perfect date would be to board the Spirit of Washington dinner train, have a relaxing romantic dinner full of thoughtful conversation, and enjoy winetasting and site seeing along the way.
