Some people think I am gay when I tell them I like to garden, cook, bake. I am very nerdy because I love school, but I am also a huge
Tolkien fan. Although I am not that into science fiction, I do love Doctor Who. Another thing you should know is that I am a very big anglophile. I love tea, and my favourite person is the queen (its her diamond jubilee this year). Furthermore, I like miniature things. I have two bonsai, I like table top war games and although I do not own any I like model trains. A passion of mine is language. I am in love with the english language, so be sure that in any relationship you have with me, the english language comes first. Also, so you know, some people would say I have a tendency to correct peoples grammar and mock them for it. Though at the moment I am unilingual, I am learning chinese and I do like studying other language's grammar.
I plan on becoming a university professor. Although languages are a passion of mine, I do not plan on becoming a linguist. However, I do plan on becoming an astrophysicist (yes that is what Raj in the Big Bang Theory is). I plan on staying in school for the rest of my life.
I like a wide range of music but I hate dance music, rap, punk rock, rock and basically every type of current music (current music being any music made in the last 50 years). My favourite composer would have to be Debussy, however, Beethoven is a close second.
I consider myself to be quite humorous, however my humour is mainly based on sarcasm and dry wit. I do not care for shows that use sexual innuendoes to get a laugh. Furthermore, anything sexual should be kept out of any conversation unless it is something that does need to be discussed. If you want a general idea of what my sense of humour is watch the shows "Corner Gas", "Fawlty Towers", "Seinfeld", "Monk" and "30 Rock". The later two sometimes break my rule about sexual innuendoes but they are forgiven. My favourite non-comedy TV shows are "Doctor Who" and "Coronation Street". My favourite movies are "Charade", "Lord of the Rings", "Harry Potter" and "Beauty and the Beast." Finally, my favourite books are "the Hobbit", "the Lord of the Rings", anything by Agatha Christie, "Harry Potter", "Emma" and "the Joy Luck Club".
