Hey, I know you're looking for smart and funny but what if I were really dumb and that just seemed funny?
I have tried to get this changed but can't. POF has rules like they mean something and it's not just one guy deciding how things go. I'm 4 years older than it says.
Regarding intent, I selected, "I want a relationship", because I think that no matter what your interaction is with someone then that's a relationship. It just seemed to be the most accurate thing to pick. A relationship could come in many forms.
That said, I'd like to find someone who shares an intense feeling of companionship with me. When we can just hold hands and be near each other and be happy then I'll try to make sure we can stay together forever. Describing what that person is going to be like is relatively pointless because the only thing that will matter is how I feel with her. The part of your brain that makes up a list of requirements doesn't have much say over what happens in the part that feels that. And really, if you read what a lot of people say carefully about what they want in a partner, what they describe are things that aren't properties of the other person per se... it's just how they will feel with that person. I suppose that I could go to my history and say that what usually gets me is bright, quick even, creative, and passionate.
The best compliment I've gotten was a POF meet where she called her emergency escape number and said, "It's OK, he's not in any way repulsive." How do you top that?
And dancing like no one is watching is just the wrong way to go about it. Dance like everyone's watching and you're awesome.
