I am looking for a friend for social activities and enjoyment of scenery, movies, books, ideas and quiet times, walks, fun, holding hands. Fun is an attitude more than what one is doing. Fall is a nice time of the year with cooler weather and beautiful changes of color. Spring is renewal and everything is beautiful.
I grew up in the era when a man knew how to fix everything, was smart and sometimes even wise and was also a gentleman. If you treat a woman right she will still think you are all of those things even if you aren't. At least a smattering of each is good to have. Companionship is worthy of time and effort if we enjoy each other.
Do we like each other? That comes first. Cards, exploring nature as well as ideas, just being curious and keeping an eye open.
My religion isn't in a building or a set of rules and judgements. I believe in God. his son Jesus. and the power of prayer.
Life is good with or without each other, but a partnership can be really nice.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I prefer to get to know someone by email and phone before meeting unless we live in the same area then it's our choice. If I find myself doing most of the talking about senseless things to fill the space we just don't click. Not a good sign for either of us. Email saves us knowing if we have anything in common mentally and spiritually. Meeting in person first thing we may never get to finding that out. If this kind of getting to know you isn't important to you then we already know we won't click.
