Alright my daughter told me that my profile was to serious for dating...
I haven't given up on love, I also haven't spent a lot of time looking for it... what's that old saying??? ahem... that they aren't going to knock at the door, you have to get out and and look? I can get lazy at that part... I do love a man who makes me laugh... one within my generation, give or take 5 years... someone that takes care of himself, and still open to new things.. at this age, we can get set in our ways.. me included..
I have yet to have grandkids in my life, but have some cute nieces and nephews to fill that void and keeps me young... I have grown kids I'm proud of, and a brother with special needs that counts on me... I am his legal guardian...for now I am looking for companionship, having a good time, and taking my time getting to know you... I am looking for love, not casual encounters...
I listen to NPR on my way to work, and oldies when that gets boring... I do search the channels though to find something new that grabs my attention... or something old that I missed the first time around... lol...
I enjoy different cuisines, Mexican food a sure hit any day of the week, Italian, Chinese and Sushi if its not raw, yeah I just can't get past raw fish including oysters and yes I've tried them but yuck..
I work a lot, but looking forward to retiring but honestly when that will be is anyone's guess.. but pretty darn healthy if I do say so myself... pretty important as a baby boomer... and something to brag about... who'd a thunk right???
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I like to meet someone have a chat and keep it short until we both feel its clicking then a date depending on the weather should be fun, not over-thought... not expensive but don't ask me to sneak snacks in my purse to see a movie until we really get to know each other.. LOL..
