Once upon a time...
Wait...how do you write a story if you don't know the ending? The real question is- are you in it? Lets find out...
My Perfect Match:
My best friend, who I love spending time with and miss when she is away. Seems so simple, doesn't it?
Yes. I do like it...thanks for noticing. Okay, some opera, hardcore rap, and Yoko Ono are pretty much out the window. Most anything else is do-able. Preferences would be most styles of rock, 70s funk, and various other genres that would make most people over the age of 70 yell "Turn that crap down!"
Star Wars (Duh!), most movies that make you think a lot, or just plain don't make you think at all. If it can do that, chances are you're sucked into the story...which means it must be good. Unless you saw it with an angsty tween, the Twilight series is out of the question.
I don't read much anymore...if I do, chances are it's a non-fiction accounting of an event of some historical significance, written from the POV of someone who was actually there...or a "How To" series type of book. I like learning how things work, and both have a certain type of lesson they excel in teaching.
Wanna come play in my sandbox? There's room!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I find it funny that this question has the parenthetical explaination of "What would you do?" Shouldn't it be "What would WE do?" The real question, I would think, is "Would we enjoy doing it together?"
How about something creative, maybe even off the "standard first date" path...Say, Mad Libs at a bookstore? Playing Frisbee with the dog or flying a kite in the park? Driving West and trying to beat the sun to the edge of the earth? Talk to me and we can decide from there!
