I enjoy a great number of things. I could go to the symphony one weekend and a metal show the next. I like horror flicks and dabble in make-up art and making people look scary. When I have time I like to dress in armor and do battle in the Society for Creative Anachronism. I get into viking history a bit due to the aforementioned hobby. I love movie theaters. I'm a bit of a gamer geek but since my gaming computer broke down I have not gotten to do much of that lately. I like to do a little of most things. I'm looking for someone that shares at least a few of my interests.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
It has been a long time since I've had a first date. I tried internet dating before and found it felt a little weird. I really think there is something to meeting someone for the first time, making eye contact, being drawn to them and finding something about them interesting enough to want to learn more. This venue does not include any of these things. I think the first time I meet someone in person that I've spoken to only online it would be nice to do something where we could talk. Find some way to determine if there is any chemistry without being disappointed. Maybe a coffee shop downtown so if we want to spend more time together there are things to do close by. If not, its just coffee so its not an extended or expensive date. Don't get me wrong. I'm a romantic, but I'm more of a traditional romantic and also a realist lol. Not sure how I manage that.
