Keeping it simple:
What makes me unique: I am a very up front and straight forward person. This has it's ups and it's downs, but it's who I am.
For hobbies - I like to read. A lot. I always have, and it would be a problem except reading is awesome and never bad. I read both fiction and non-fiction. For fiction I like fantasy, mysteries, graphic novels and I'm trying to get into horror. On Non-fiction it tends to be on history, geography, politics, intelligence (as in spies) and I'm trying to get into philosophy.
Beyond that I like to do happy hours with friends, play board games with friends, see movies, walk around DC/Arlington and people watch, watch TV (The Americans, Vikings, Game of Thrones, Sneaky Pete, Better Call Saul).
People Watching, Board Games, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, Catan, Seven Wonders, A Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, James Bond, Crossfit, Westerns, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, The Americans, Justified, Sneaky Pete, Better Call Saul, Vikings, Ancient History, History, Books, Graphic Novels
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I find personal chemistry is generally best learned in person rather than via messages so I like to meet up and learn more about a girl that way. I find the best first dates involve meeting up for coffee or drinks plus walking around the neighborhood we meet up in. It's a good way to get to know one another without feeling any pressure that so many people associate with first dates.
