I'm a little unconventional, fairly liberal and a typical Taurus -- homebody, beauty-loving, nurturing, stubborn, love all animals and tend to believe what someone tells me. I read cereal boxes, billboards, Tom Wolfe, comic books, Virginia Woolf, Richard Brautigan, grade school grammars, Louise Hay, other people's mail, Konrad Lorenz, song lyrics, Joseph Campbell, recipes and Jeffrey Masson. I bicycle almost everyday and am learning to do all kinds of home repair and improvements like pouring concrete and house painting. Although I've spoiled my dogs shamelessly, I think it would be a very fine thing to help improve the relationship between dogs and their owners. It's Animal Week on NPR, just heard a story about dogs helping veterans with PTSD and helping prison inmates re-entering society, both very successfully. I like music and dance, am thrilled with wind and rainstorms, can hardly wait to travel by train again and find that it is the journey rather than the destination that serves up the surprises. There is a neat song by Baz Lurhmann, "Everybody has the right to wear sunscreen" in which he exhorts us to do something that scares us everyday. Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I like to walk and talk; a first meeting might be walking through an arts district or bicycling around a lake or we could take our puppies to the dog park. What would be comfortable for you?
