This retired lady is looking for someone enjoy life with (There has to be some men out there who don't want a 24/7 relationship, but rather someone to do things with, go to the beach, a day trip into Boston, the museums, the movies, lunch/dinner, a ride, a show, whatever--if something more happens and both parties are agreeable -- great, if not -- it's good to have a good friend to do things with. My point is--it seems people are looking for a romance and you have to meet people and get to know them before anything can happen. Take it slow. A sense of humor is a good thing -- and honesty is of the utmost importance!
For TV--it's cooking shows, Castle, Law & Order, NCIS, Bones, and anything about Egypt! Music: oldies, (of course)anything except rap and opera.
Reading -- mostly mysteries. I like gardening, (grow herbs in the summer and veggies, animals, the beach, the mountains -- don't like car races, wrestling, war/action movies. A walk--seeing new places and exploring them. I've been to a few places (Florida, Jamaica, Bermuda, Nantucket, Alberta, CA and the midwest).
So, come on guys--let's get together -- I'll pack a lunch and we'll take a ride up the coast of ME--to the zoo in Stoneham--wherever. Summer is around the corner, time for some fun in the sun.
Finally--and not only for me -- but all posters -- if someone takes the time to send you a message -- please reply -- even if it's to say you're not interested -- it's okay -- really -- we are all adults here, but it's common courtesy to respond and let people know you got their message -- so they don't sit and wonder.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
E-mail first to get acquainted, then a casual meeting, lunch and maybe a walk, weather and location depending.
