About Me
Relationship Needs Assessment Quiz Results:

1.) I am attracted to someone who responds to the fact that I enjoy the reassurance of physical contact and emotional sharing, but who helps to keep dependency in check in the relationship so that the two of us don't lose our identities as individuals.

2.) I am attracted to men whose character is deserving of my affection, loyalty, and respect, because I tend to choose a partner that I feel will better me as a person, that I can look up to, and try to emulate.

3.) I am attracted to men who will understand and accept a slow pace for emotional intimacy with me and provide frequent reassurance of their feelings and intentions as the relationship is taken to progressive levels.

4.) I need someone who is extremely supportive of my goals by showing patience and a positive outlook and who also frequently acknowledges and praises my small and large accomplishments.

5.) I need someone who will be patient and supportive as I figure out my goals, rather than who will rush the relationship prematurely.

6.) I need someone who will not put up emotional barriers when I seek to understand his thoughts and feelings, but rather will communicate with me intimately and candidly.

7.) I need someone who is calm, cool and collected and who is willing to address issues spontaneously and through intense, action-oriented debates and discussions.

8.) I desire a man who regards sex as a meaningful bond between people in love, who allows me to submit sexually, appreciates that he will be the center of attention in the bedroom, and will reward me by paying close attention to how I enjoy being pleased sexually.

9.) I need someone whose highest priority is our relationship and is willing to do the hard work to keep a transcendent level of love alive in the relationship.

10.) I am happiest with someone who can express affection for me and reward me for my accomplishments through tangible surprises – such as fun gifts he makes, souvenirs purchased on business trips or beautiful tokens or presents that show he remembers and celebrates special occasions.

How does my personality affect my romantic life?

Given the strong degree of confidence that I have, it’s no surprise that I get along well with most people. Indeed, it’s self-confidence that allows people to feel comfortable interacting with others without feeling insecure and vulnerable. For this reason, I shouldn’t have much difficulty in romance, at least not initially. My social skills will likely help relieve any anxiety my romantic partners might have on those first few dates.

Because I respect family values, but, appreciate a good night out on the town, I probably will get along well with people that are different from me. For this reason, I would probably be quite content in a romantic relationship with someone who shares my same values on these issues. Being in a relationship with someone who enjoys going out to parties and staying-up late at night might be fun, at least initially; yet it’s likely that I will find this tiring over time. Thus, it might be easier and more satisfying for me to develop a long-lasting relationship with a person who enjoys both spending time at home and going out for fun.

As someone who is more relaxed than most people, I will likely get along with most people quite well. My friends and colleagues perceive me as lively, fun to be with, and good-humored. When it comes to romance, I’ll likely be attracted to most people. However, my free-spirited nature might make being in a relationship with a person that is more rigid than me difficult because I might perceive the person as being too uptight and too controlling.

My openness probably makes it easy for me to respect and appreciate people that are different from me. However, I may become frustrated with people that are too unconventional or too traditional. Therefore, I may be happiest in serious relationships with people that share both my open-mindedness and realistic nature.

Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I'm looking for "outside the box" dates with an "outside the box" thinker, not just the old standard dinner, movies, and\or drinks. I like doing that too but...

I'd rather do something during the afternoon when the sun is shining. Sometimes I really just want to go to the batting cages or have a round of mini golf, play frisbee, play catch, go to a lake, fly kites, run up a steep grassy hill, then run down the steep grassy hill holding hands & laughing all the way back down, fish off a pier, spend all day at a museum or gallery, go to an old fashion arcade or carousel....and I'm sure you've got some great, light-hearted fun ideas too.

Just remember...Flakes belong in the snow, not on dates with me.
