First let me say, IMO one of the best parts of POF is the forums, and many here don't even know they exist, and now the links been removed! So when you have time check out http://forums.plentyoffish.com/ Lots of interesting incites to see. Now back on topic-
Petite auburn country horsewoman, pass for younger.Pretty? well, no ones thrown stones yet.Have moved to South Eastern Ont, perhaps I'm closer than you think. Climate is warmer here. Took early retirement from railway, but continue to drive truck. Being
the procrastinator I am, is easier to do things today if you know you have to go to work tomorrow. Carpentry & remodeling skills are being put to test in the old farmhouse I now reside in! Big change from living in a custom built house I designed. But then challenge, as in change, helps keep one young, don't you think? But I am no couch potato, and have little tolerance for anyone who is. Sorry, that's just me! And I've always had a fair number of horses, at least split my own wood,(now I cut it too) and about the only TV I watch is the occasional movie, or instructional video's. Non smoker, social drinker, likes country music, dancing, touring bikes, animals, big trucks, good books, garage sales, parks like 6 flags, country fairs, horse shows, and HORSES!!! Been years since I've owned less than 25.This means if you are looking for a traveling companion, I'm not the one. Critters keep me tied down too much! Collect cook books, need guinea pig to experiment on. Comfortable in dress and heels but live in jeans and boots. If you don't like country music, I will drive you crazy! Radio is never off, lol! Looking for a man I can respect and look up to, who can cope with a humorous, very independent lady who works in a traditional male job with long hours. So if you think you can keep up, no innuendo's intended, love to hear from you! Please note, don't take it as an affront if it takes me a little time to reply, I will get back to you. Also, I've never been able to get into the chat thing, to me it's kind of time consuming with about same advantages as TV watching. I'm happy to e-mail which I can do when time permits, and eventually either communicate by phone or meet. Just MHO.
EDIT following written tongue in cheek, I support my self just fine, thanks! Never dreamed someone would actually take the negative parts seriously! CAPITAL'S ADDED TO MAKE MYSELF CLEAR,LOL!
Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's NOT A CREEP
One who's handsome, smart and strong, (IN MY EYES)
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
I pray he's gainfully employed, I SUPPORT MYSELF, AND ALL MY CRITTERS, PREFER THAT A SIGNIFICANT OTHER CAN AT LEAST SUPPORT HIMSELF,
When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed, DON'T NEED HIS CASH, HAVE MY OWN
Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.
Oh! Send me a man WHO'LL MAKE LOVE TO MY MIND
Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?" (NOT AN ISSUE)
I pray that this man will love me to no end,
AND ALWAYS BE MY VERY BEST FRIEND .
I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge boobs who owns a liquor store and a golf course .
This doesn't rhyme and I don't give a #$%@!
"My treasures do not click together or glitter, they gleam in the sun and neigh in the night."
-- Bedouin Proverb
"Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened."
"The passion for horses is a seed within you that never dies, but buds over and over again, no matter what life holds in store for you."
If you've made it this far, perhaps you can understand someone who dislikes animals is not going to make it very far with me.That last quote really describes my life, so really prefer someone who is actually into horses. And having married someone who pretended to like horses, I would hope I would now see through the pretense. They are such a big part of my life, I need someone who will understand that and not be intimidated, as most of them (horses)aren't gong anywhere soon!
If I've put you on my favorites and not written, it's because your mail settings prevents it!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I think as others have said, meeting for a coffee, Timmy's, whatever, to see if there is mutual interest before planning a date. Then, depending on the time of year, winter maybe a carnival, summer a country fair, something where we can be comfortable and share an interest, but still be conducive to conversation!
If you got this far, and have any interest, you need to send me a note! Let me reword that. If you expect a reply, you need to write more than 3 words. As a matter of fact, at least 30 or more would be better. If it sounds like you never read my profile, as in "interesting profile", but nothing specific mentioned, it appears you're sending random mail, and every woman deserves genuine interest!
