About Me
I consider myself to be smart, compassionate, but prioritize being positive. I value people who try hard at whatever they are doing, but can manage to do so with a smile on their face and without getting on people's nerves.
I have moved back to the Bay Area after living here for a few summers in college; a New Englander by birth, with my college years spent in Chicago. Recently moved into SF and work in San Mateo.
My spare time is spent watching random TV, going out in SF, watching films, volunteering, oversleeping, and random projects/excursions.
Dislikes: extreme political or religious conservatives, those who don't like animals, boring folks who wander through life without any curiosity.
Likes: Tattoos (okay call me a hypocrite because I have none and probably won't get any), card carriers, calculated risk takers.
Random interests...
Music examples: Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam,Royksopp, Rolling Stones, miscellaneous dubstep...anything catchy without being too poppy. Generally speaking I can tolerate almost anything if it at least has some underlying musical content or makes me want to pull some ridiculous dance move out.
TV: LOST, The Office, Tosh.0, Always Sunny, Entourage, The Wire, Mad Men, Dexter, Portlandia, Workaholics.
Sports I enjoy: Baseball, Football, Basketball, Tennis, Golf, Skiing/Boarding (great at the former, terrible at the latter), target shooting, Ice Hockey. I'll play any sport enthusiastically (but secretly detest the whole 'jock' mentality).
