The name's LAUREN. Nice to meet you :) Recently decided to start fresh and redo my profile - so bear with me haha.
I'm sure you've already checked out my pictures and it's obvious I'm not a skinny girl, I have substance and I won't break if you hug me hard, so if you're into that - great! If not, please don't be mean. All I ask is that you get to know me before you judge.
I never come across online how I would like, so I suppose the best way to get to know me is in person! There is a lot to learn about me, and I look forward to getting to know you, too.
I just moved to Saugatuck after living around the state for a few years. I graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute with a degree in Esthiology. Before that, I graduated from Northern Michigan University last August with a Bachelors Degree in Media Production and New Technology with a Psychology minor. It's a great accomplishment, but I'm only 24 and there are still a lot of different things I want to learn. For instance, I want to try my hand at DJ-ing, bar tending, tattooing and piercing, flying an airplane, and traveling the world. I currently work at a spa in Saugatuck.
Music is a huge part of my life. It is the one thing that I can relate to no matter how I am feeling. It's hard to describe my taste in music. I really do like almost anything. I have to say that mash-ups are my favorite. I consider myself a human jukebox because I always seem to have a song for everything. I love discovering new music. I'm not a huge fan of country or jazz, but that doesn't mean I won't give it a chance. I used to play piano and cello for 8 years and sometimes I miss it a lot. If you can play an instrument, you just won major brownie points with me ;)
I really am a huge hippie at heart. I've never really fit in anywhere except among the hippies lol. I can also be described as "sapiosexual." Google it haha. Neither of those things are really super private, but I prefer to keep some things, well private. Oh, and I'm 420 friendly.
As far as what I'm looking for... ultimately I need someone who can keep me laughing. I love to laugh and can't be with someone who can't make me laugh. I'm not a hard person to please, but I do like to be surprised and treated like a lady! I'm really tired of people coming in and out of my life. You know by the first date if you have a connection with someone. Please don't string me along and then just cut if off suddenly lol. I'm pretty up front and and don't like to string anyone along so I just expect the same from others. I need someone who is honest, too... I don't want to find out secrets that should have just been told in the beginning. Along with that, I would rather have someone not like me for who I am then like me for who I am not. I'm a very independent woman, and I like to think I have my sh*ttogether... so I would appreciate someone who (for the most part) has their life together, too. Don't get me wrong, I like to have a good time, but you can't live your entire life drunk. I would like someone to have fun with... but is responsible and knows when to quit.

First Date
Well, I've never actually been on a real date, so it would be a completely new experience for me. I'm not a huge fan of the cliche dinner and a movie bit, but I suppose we could start off with dinner, somewhere relaxed where we can talk and break the ice then onto something fun. Maybe attend a concert or hockey game, or go dancing. I'm open for suggestion. If you really want to impress me figure out my favorite restaurant and surprise me with it :)
