About Me
I think most of my friends and loved ones would say I am smart, funny, polite, loyal, and sincere in conversation. I love being alive. Everything about it. Dancing. Failure. Sunshine. The smell of morning. Body-surfing big waves in the winter in Maui. Hiking in the foothills and mountains of the Northwest. Taking long swims in the cold water of small lakes in the summer.....Hmmm......Actually, I also dislike a few things--snakes and scary movies and wealthy, boring, pompous people. Not sure why those were invented. I believe in giving flowers and massages, opening doors for the fairer sex, and making people laugh. I'm working hard at loving people, all people, all the time.
Graduate degrees in Political Science and Journalism. Have been a tv reporter, owned my own video production company, and worked in the video game business for some time. Love long, deep, wide-ranging conversation. Love to be inspired by beauty, art, excellence of any kind, whether that's film, sunset, a good set of ocean waves with whales breeching in the distance, the Olympics, Special Olympics...sigh, some of the things human beings can accomplish are just profound.
Love to be active--have a nice road bike, work out at Gold's with my son, raquetsports, travel. Maui body-surfing. Dig dancing/partying with family/ friends. Duck fan. Enjoy quality film/tv, books. Belong to two Book Clubs and love both of them. It's a lot of fun to be passionate about literature, writing styles, content, history. Love to talk, laugh, tell stories, improv, kiss. Kissing and laughter are absolutely essential to a good relationship. So is communication. Talk to one another about everything. Absolutely everything. Hold nothing back. Moments are precious.
