My baggage (at least the piece I didn't lose on my last trip) is fairly light yet colorful. I'm reasonably low-maintenance and, even though I am learning how to wind down in this retirement thing, I still have my fair share of energy for all things new and fun.
Possible deal breakers? I am politically and financially conservative, an extremely early riser, a diehard (nearly lifelong) SF Giants and Niners fan and I have far more energy than someone my age should have. Other than that, I am changeable!
What floats my boat? The aforementioned Giants and Niners, my badly-behaved black cat, comfort food, swimming and bicycling, great novels, extreme discounts, CNBC in the morning, early Spring and late Fall, Clapton, the Sunday newspaper, Keurig, smiles of strangers, warm/crusty sourdough, my sisters, Oregon Coast, crochet, the Eagles, growing roses and tomatoes, cruising to anywhere/nowhere, Yosemite, firm handshakes and a hearty belly laugh.
What would someone who seemingly has it all (ha!) want in a partner? Common sense, financial independence, fully-loaded tool belt, sparkling eyes, no fear of the concept of "partnership", intelligence, honesty, warmth, yada, yada, etc. I'm already working on the next chapter. Wanna be part of the adventure or just another reader?
