*Went to Africa in August...what an adventure and MAN, do I ever have stories!!!*
Music is an escape for me. I believe most situations can be expressed or reflected upon with a song. I use music as therapy to deal with all types of situations - if I don't feel my own words would properly express my thoughts or feelings, I usually have a song that does.
I truly try to live life with no regrets and stopping to "smell the roses" as it would be. Every situation affords an opportunity to learn from, whether I know what it is at that time or not. My life experiences have given me true insight that, as cliche as it sounds, every moment should be cherished, so I try my hardest and I make a point of stopping and taking mental pictures during the important times in my life.
I don't wear makeup, spend hours on my hair and I'm definitely no Barbie - so if that's what you're looking for, kindly move on. I believe life should be focused on things less materialistic and that truly matter.
I'm hoping to find someone who I will be compatible with and we will become best friends through dating and it will lead into a long term relationship. I am looking for someone who is intelligent, easy going, family oriented and has patience and understanding. Someone who can dance is a definite plus!
I play slo-pitch in the summer, am passionate about music and dancing and love spending time with my family above all else. Just recently got into Zumba and I LOVE it! I go multiple times a week (sometimes multiple times a day) and can't get enough!
In 2008 I began working with a charity which allows me to travel to different countries while providing medical care to the people who so desperately need it. I love it because it allows me to see the countries for what they actually are and meet the people and hear their stories. So far I have been to El Salvador twice, the Peruvian Amazon twice, Zimbabwe and Haiti. Would love if my partner could experience this with me - no medical experience required!
