About Me
I am a 62 year old woman with a 18 year old living inside of me. A liberal woman living in a conservative town and state. I love all decades of rock and roll and go to small venues to hear live music (mostly the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland)
I have reached a point in life where I just want to be me and someone needs to take me as I am.
I have a lust for life and enjoy gardening, and just digging life. I recently bought a new 35mm digital camera and am having fun rediscovering the wonderful world of snapping photos!
I hope to retire at 65 and move to............Cleveland. Yep that's Cleveland OH. No Florida for me!
Please don't bother to write if you are religious or a Republican or a Teabagger. I am a proud liberal and believe in helping others, whether it is volunteering or making donations.
Not a sports gal altho I do love the Cavs and the Indians; a watcher not a player, am I.
Since I first signed on to POF, I was diagnosed with tongue cancer (stop smoking if you still do and don't if you haven't)! Had 7 weeks of radiation and chemo over late fall and winter of 2010/2011 and happy to say that my PET scan in April came back clean. Screw Cancer......
I lost alot of weight but not my hair, altho I did cut it short in anticipation of losing it all to chemo....so now I await it to grow back.
I really relate to someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously, has a warped sense of humor, loves rock n roll and is a Democrat. I love new restaurants, travel, movies, and doing volunteer work. Not a big party gal anymore, but not adverse to a****ail once in a while.
What I enjoyed most in life; Rock and roll and gardening saved my soul; that and the love of hundreds of friends who came to my aid and helped me slay the beast. Friends are so important!!!!
so live each day to it's fullest and get out and enjoy this wonderful life. Maybe we can meet and do something groovy together.

Also not looking for those who want to whine about the past or past relationships. We have all had our bumps in the road. At this point in life it is time to just LIVE and have a good time. Life is short.

First Date
First date I would like to go for drinks and just chat. No heavy talk of past relationships and the stuff that can wait, but just to get to know each other. A walk in the country would be cool too.
