About Me
It's been a while since I enrolled in POF...I have moved from Louisiana back to Georgia. There have been some changes...location, jobs, and responsibilities. So here is an update as of 12/02/12.
There are some things that will never change. One thing that will never change is that I bleed red & black. I write this the day after Georgia lost to The Tide. However, I will always be a DAWG. I am looking for a gal that will know how to Hunker Down!!!! I enjoy going to the games, but also enjoy the living room...the restrooms are much cleaner at home...lol!!!
I think the lady should be respected...I will pull your chair out, open the door for you, and hopefully a few other things that will make you feel special. I have noticed that women do not expect it, so they don't get it. It's a lost art.
Also, I am a music lover!!! I sing...out loud and not just in the shower. I enjoy all kinds of music...have a great appreciation for it. However, I must admit that I do have a low to no tolerance for rap and opera. I really enjoy a lot of today's country...Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, & Carrie Underwood. I also have a great appreciation for Phil Collins & Lionel Richie.
Let’s see what makes me unique...my greatest uniqueness is...I am me!!! I'm not a redneck, a cyclist, high society...I am me!!!! I will treat you like a lady and be polite no matter the situation. I'm a lot like you...good days & bad days, but I will respectful and nice to you. I will do my best to always be me!!!
Also, I have 2 wonderful kids...they truly are my life. I have a daughter who is 22 and a son that is 17. I live in the middle of them...my daughter in the Gulf Coast and my son lives in North Georgia Mountains. They live in the best of both worlds. My visits to them are always enjoyable...just choose the right season. They are great kids...never been a problem...AWESOME kids!!!! (P.S...Not perfect though!!!)
I am very close to my family. I have a sister with the trimmings...husband, children, in-laws, and grandkids...and I have an elderly father. They are one of the reasons I have moved back to South Georgia. They help make life interesting.
Last of all, my faith is very important to me. I was raised and am a Christian. If your profile says, non-religious...New Age...Buddhist...we probably would not be compatible. I respect individuals to have the right to worship how they like...it's one of the great things about being an American that I love. I do not want to offend anyone...I am not perfect...but just know what works in my life and what doesn't. I am unapologetically Christian...I go to church...hopefully someone out there can and will appreciate it!!!
